App: Workout Note

This Privacy Policy explains how Workout Note (the "App") handles your information. The App does not collect or transmit your personal data to any server of ours. All of your workout, diet, and weight records are stored only on your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not directly collect or transmit personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, or location.

2. Information Stored on Your Device (Local Only)

The following information is stored solely in your device's local storage and is never transmitted externally:

Profile information: nickname, gender, age, height, weight, goal (entered by you)
Workout records, workout plans, diet logs, weight logs, and memos
App settings such as language

This information is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Third-Party Services and External Connections

The App may use the following third-party services, which process information according to their own policies:

Google AdMob (Ads): In the free version, ads may be shown, and advertising identifiers and device information may be collected for this purpose. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Google Play Billing (In-App Subscription): Premium subscription payments are processed through Google Play, and payment information is managed by Google. The App does not store any payment method information such as card details.
Online Food Search: When you search for a food, the search term (food name) is sent to the public food nutrition API operated by the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to retrieve nutrition data. No user-identifying information is transmitted.
Online Exercise Search, Reference Images, and Description Translation: When you search for an exercise, the search term is sent to a public exercise database, and some reference images may be loaded from a public image repository. When viewing exercise descriptions in Korean, the text may be sent to a translation service. No user-identifying information is transmitted during these processes.

4. App Permissions

Internet: Used for online food and exercise search, loading exercise images, and displaying ads.
Notifications: Used to provide features such as workout reminders (with your consent).

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not primarily directed at children under the age of 13/14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all records are stored on your device, deleting the App or clearing data within the App permanently removes them.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated in response to legal or service changes. Any changes will be posted on this page.
